The brief was to design a family home to take advantage of the westerly views, while ensuring the downstairs addressed the existing swimming pool. Mid-level glazing has been provided in the two-storey component of the building, to provide both additional light and interest to the design. Hi-lite windows around a ‘pop-up’ roof do the same for the upstairs areas, as well as over the central kitchen. The open plan living flows well, with subtle separation of the different zones.
